All Dogs Need Worm Treatment Regularly to effectively prevent worm infestations in breeding kennels it is important to treat pregnant and nursing bitches before whelping, and to commence a regular worm prevention program in young, growing pups from 3 months of age. It is very important to treat all dogs at once so that the risk of re-infection from untreated dogs is reduced. Treatment: Effective Whipworm treatment will require dosage every 6-8 weeks after 3 months of age. Pups should be treated at 2, 4, 8, and 12 weeks and then every 3 months. Treatment for Hydatid Tapeworm prevention requires dosing every 6 weeks.
