Simparica TRIO Red is a small and palatable liver-flavoured chewable tablet to be administered monthly.

It provides treatment and control of fleas, ticks, and intestinal worms, and prevents heartworm disease in extra large dogs weighing 40.1–60kg.

Each chew contains: 300mg pyrantel (as embonate), 72mg sarolaner, 1.44mg moxidectin

Administration:

• For oral use only – administer once a month
• Suitable for puppies from 8 weeks of age and weighing 1.3kg or more
• Remove one chew from the foil-backed blister card at the time of treatment
• Offer as a treat – highly palatable and generally accepted by dogs
• If not accepted voluntarily, administer with a small amount of food or place directly in the mouth

General Directions:

• Safe across a broad range of breeds and weights when dosed correctly
• No adverse interactions when used with vaccines, antibiotics, or corticosteroids
• Well tolerated in dogs including Collies and Shepherds sensitive to avermectins
• Not evaluated in breeding, pregnant, or lactating dogs

Indications:

• Fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.):
  • Kills fleas within 4–8 hours
  • Breaks the flea lifecycle by killing adults before egg-laying
  • Treats, controls, and prevents flea infestations
  • Helps manage Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD)
  • Provides protection for 5 weeks (35 days)
• Ticks (Ixodes holocyclus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus):
  • Kills paralysis and brown dog ticks
  • Eliminates pre-existing tick infestations within 24 hours
  • Persistent tick protection for 5 weeks
  • Daily tick checks recommended during tick season
• Heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis):
  • Prevents heartworm disease with monthly use
  • Continuous year-round treatment required
• Intestinal Worms:
  • Treats and controls hookworms (A. caninum, U. stenocephala) and roundworms (T. canis, T. leonina)
  • Effective against larval stages (L4, L5)
  • Reduces transmission risk to other pets

Treatment Schedule:

• Can begin at any time of year
• Administer monthly without breaks
• Multiple treatments may be needed for existing infestations
• Treat all dogs and cats in the household to minimise re-infestation
• For dogs only – use approved products for cats

Dosage: Administer whole chew monthly. Do not divide chews — choose the appropriate size for your dog’s bodyweight.
